The PSBB Millennium School @ DLF Garden City, Thazhambur, OMR, affiliated to the CBSE, Delhi was started in June 2009 with 250 children. This imposing edifice with its professional landscaping, spread over 2 ½ acres, is not only a verdant oasis but also the newest landmark in the region.
The 5th academic year (2013-14) has a student strength of 1700 and classes up to STD X.
The KG rooms with their colourful and comfortable furniture, exclusive and covered play area and colourful play equipment cater to the development of the Gross Motor Skills of the tiny tots. An attractively painted Activity room with abundant learning material is available to develop the Fine Motor Skills and eye hand coordination of the little ones.
Well lit and ventilated classrooms, Smart Class Technology that makes abstract concepts concrete, State of the art labs (Math, English, Science and Computer Science), a Spacious and well equipped Library, Sprawling play area with Basket Ball Court, Volley Ball Court, Cricket Pitch and Kho-Kho Court, Indoor Games room are but a few features that make learning interesting for the students. Qualified and trained teachers in all subjects and at all levels contribute to making learning an enjoyable experience for all students.
Indian Music, Western Music, Dance, Art & Craft, Veda, Yoga, Indoor and Outdoor sports are some of the co-curricular activities that encourage children to overcome any inhibition or stage fear. The various educational, cultural and sports events are designed to bring out of the best in all children.
The School is now an ISO 9001:2008 Certified School.
The School will soon be upgraded to the Senior Secondary Level.
